Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Can I Choose The Music That I Want?

Absolutely! It doesn’t matter what kind of an event you want to host, we will work with you to put together a set that reflects your wishes exactly. Alternatively, if there are certain types of music or certain songs you DO NOT want played we will happily accommodate that too.

Won’t a Spotify playlist do the job?

We can not stress this part enough – no! Imagine a room full of 150 drunk people, all with different music tastes, all having access to one phone and the ability to choose and change a song (before another person comes and switches it out 20 seconds in). It’s a recipe for disaster. One thing that’s really important to recognise is that your DJ has the skill set (and experience) to read a room, so if anyone tells you a Spotify playlist will do the job, they haven’t experienced how wrong that can go.

What Happens If You Don’t Have A Song That We Would Like Played?

With a database of over 50,000 songs, it is more than likely that we will have any song that you ask for. However, if you ask for something that we don’t have in our database, we will ensure that we track it down in time for your event. We’ve got you covered.

How Do You Chose Which Songs Are Played?

All of our DJs are hugely experienced, know how to mix properly and how to read the dancefloor to make sure that the right songs are being played at the right time. We work hard to make sure that we seamlessly mix songs and styles at the right points in the night.

What Do Your DJs Wear?

Unless you specifically ask us to dress differently, all of our male DJs will be in a shirt and black trousers and our female DJs in something similarly cool/smart.

Do Your DJs Talk Over The Microphone?

We keep our microphone chat to a minimum – this lies too close to cheesy mobile DJs for us! Having said that, all of our DJs are experienced in making announcements and public speaking, so if you need to utilise the DJ to make any announcements throughout the night, this is absolutely no problem. We will discuss this prior to your event to ensure we are all on the same page.

Do You Have Insurance?

All of our DJs are members of The National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) and all have Public Liability Insurance of up to £10m. In addition, all of our equipment is regularly PAT tested to ensure its safety.

Can We Speak To Our DJ Before The Event?

Definitely – we will organise for there to be a Skype or Facetime call between you and your DJ prior to booking. There is no obligation to do this, however we feel it’s a great way to ‘meet’ your DJ ahead of the day, so they can get a feel for you and your crowd, and vice versa. It’s also helpful to run through specific requirements over the phone.
