WEDDING DJ HACKNEY TOWN HALL, LONDON - HOLLY & BRADLEY
We love Hackney Town Hall wedding DJ enquiries – this is a place where you can combine all the elements of an epic wedding into one amazing East London venue. And for the couples that want a party that goes late into the night this particular venue possesses a very rare thing: a 2am licence!!
Holly and Bradley got in touch looking for all-day support – they wanted a DJ that could hold the dancefloor until their 2am finish but also provide reliable tech and sound support from the ceremony, through to the drinks reception, the breakfast and the speeches. And if you’ve been to a wedding where a friend does the ceremony music through a tiny speaker then you know how badly wrong it can go without a professional there. With a guestlist of almost 200 this was a wedding where professional support was all-important and we were more that happy to make sure Holly & Brad’s day was perfect, every step of the way.
The ceremony was in the beautiful Atria, a vast light-filled space with a lovely energy, where Caz the Celebrant held a brilliant, fun and personal ceremony for Holly and Bradley. Soul to Soul Acoustic headed up the drinks reception music before we then swapped in again for the evening entertainment. The couple opted to skip a formal first dance but wanted to open the dancefloor with Candi Staton’s Young Hearts Run Free, while the final song at 1.57am was Starship’s Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now! In between? Lots of garage, 90s dance, Aretha and Prince.
