PARADISE BY WAY OF KENSAL GREEN WEDDING DJ

WEDDING DJ PARADISE BY WAY OF KENSAL GREEN

Olivia & Daniel’s Wedding at Paradise by Way of Kensal Green – A Transatlantic Celebration

Paradise by Way of Kensal Green is one of West London’s most effortlessly cool wedding venues. With its eclectic décor, vintage charm, and a reputation for throwing some of the best parties in town, it was the perfect setting for Olivia & Daniel’s big day. This wedding had a definite US tint to the soundtrack, with Olivia’s American roots shining through in the music selection, blending Southern rock, classic country, blues, and all-out party anthems for a night that felt totally unique.

A Smooth, Soulful First Dance

The couple chose "Tennessee Whiskey" by Chris Stapleton for their first dance, a slow-burning, soulful country ballad that set a warm, intimate tone to kick things off. The track’s bluesy guitar and smooth vocals made for a gorgeous moment, before DJ Vicki Lou took things up several notches and got the dancefloor fully moving.

An All-American Soundtrack With a London Twist

This was a wedding with serious range. The brief was to reflect Olivia’s US background while keeping things accessible for a London crowd—and that’s exactly what the set delivered. Highlights included:

  • Southern Rock & Americana Vibes – Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, and The Eagles brought a laid-back, anthemic feel early in the night.

  • Country Meets Dancefloor – Shania Twain’s Man! I Feel Like a Woman! had an insane reaction.

  • Classic & Modern Pop Bangers – Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Dua Lipa kept the dancefloor packed.

  • Indie & Rock Anthems – Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, and Bruce Springsteen made sure both sides of the pond felt represented.

Curveballs That Worked

Some of the night’s biggest surprises came from unexpected tracks that completely took over the dancefloor:

  • "Jolene" – Dolly Parton (A proper country moment that had the entire room singing along)

  • "Wagon Wheel" – Old Crow Medicine Show (A folk-country anthem that landed perfectly with the crowd)

  • "Take Me Home, Country Roads" – John Denver (One of the biggest singalongs of the night)

Big Tunes That Smashed It

  • "Dancing in the Dark" – Bruce Springsteen (Springsteen is always a winner)

  • "American Boy" – Estelle & Kanye West (A fun nod to the cross-Atlantic theme of the night)

  • "Proud Mary" – Tina Turner (The big ‘rollin’ moment had the dancefloor absolutely going off)

Closing With a Special Song

For the last song of the night, Olivia & Daniel went for something truly personal—"Bull Riders & Songwriters" by Willy Tea Taylor. It was a beautiful, reflective way to end the night, a track that meant a lot to the couple and gave everyone a moment to take it all in before heading home.

A Wedding to Remember at Paradise by Way of Kensal Green

This was a high-energy, eclectic, and personal wedding soundtrack, perfectly blending US influences with a proper London party. Olivia & Daniel knew exactly what they wanted, and DJ Vicki Lou delivered a set that felt totally unique to them—the kind of night that no one who was there will forget anytime soon.

After multiple postponements and a last-minute venue change, Danielle & Ivan’s wedding reception at The Princess Victoria in Shepherd’s Bush was a long time coming—but when the big day finally arrived, it was well worth the wait. THE ORANGERY WEDDING DJ

WEDDING DJ AT THE ORANGERY

Wedding DJ at The Orangery, Maidstone – Sumant & Meredith's Epic Cross-Cultural Celebration

The Orangery in Maidstone is a stunning wedding venue, surrounded by lush gardens and set against the backdrop of a tranquil lake and waterfall. It’s an incredible space that offers both elegance and versatility—perfect for Sumant and Meredith’s unforgettable wedding, which blended vibrant Punjabi Hindu traditions with Canadian wedding vibes. With DJ Jon on the decks and full-day support from RedLine DJs, this was a wedding that had it all, from serene ceremony moments to an absolutely wild dancefloor.

A Ceremony by the Water

The day started with a breathtaking outdoor Hindu ceremony, set right by the river within The Orangery’s beautifully landscaped grounds. We provided full sound system support, ensuring that every word of the ceremony was crystal clear with wireless lapel mics for the officiants and speakers. The groom’s entrance, or Baraat, was an energetic highlight, complete with dhol drummers setting the tone for the celebration ahead.

From Dinner to Dancefloor

Following the ceremony, guests moved indoors for the wedding breakfast, where we set the mood with a carefully curated background playlist that bridged the couple’s musical tastes—classic Motown and soul for Meredith’s family, alongside some Bollywood and bhangra-infused instrumentals for Sumant’s side.

The first dance was a timeless classic: God Only Knows by The Beach Boys. A beautifully sentimental moment that led straight into a high-energy, full-throttle party. Sumant and Meredith didn’t just want a dancefloor—they wanted a party, and that’s exactly what they got.

The Soundtrack to an Unforgettable Night

With such a diverse guest list, the music needed to be just right. We brought together an eclectic mix that catered to every corner of the room:

  • Big dancefloor fillers – Earth, Wind & Fire, Beyoncé, and Calvin Harris had everyone moving.

  • Bhangra and Bollywood bangersMundian To Bach Ke and Jai Ho got Sumant’s side of the family hyped.

  • Pop-punk and indie anthems – Blink-182, The Killers, and Arctic Monkeys had the late-night crowd bouncing.

  • Singalong moments – There’s nothing quite like Livin’ on a Prayer and Mr. Brightside to bring everyone together.

Last Song of the Night

As the night drew to a close, the energy in the room was still electric. To wrap things up in style, Sumant and Meredith chose Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen—an absolute anthem that had everyone belting out the lyrics, arms in the air, right to the last beat.

Curveballs That Worked

  • Dancing Queen – ABBA fever was in full swing!

  • Temperature – Sean Paul brought some unexpected dancehall heat to the night.

Big Tunes That Smashed It

  • You’ve Got The Love – The Florence & The Machine version was a huge crowd moment.

  • Desi Girl – A nod to Bollywood that got everyone grooving.

  • Shut Up and Dance – Always a surefire winner for mixed crowds.

BROOKFIELD BARN WEDDING DJ

WEDDING DJ BROOKFIELD BARN

A Non-Stop Party: Millie & Felix’s Wedding at Brookfield Barn

We love playing at Brookfield Barn—and we should, considering how many weddings we DJ there! As one of their preferred suppliers, we’ve had the pleasure of soundtracking countless unforgettable nights in this stunning Sussex venue. With its gorgeous lakeside setting, modern barn aesthetic, and perfect dancefloor space, it’s no wonder it’s such a hit with couples.

For Millie & Felix, this was all about the party—and they absolutely brought the energy from start to finish. With DJ Jon on the decks, this was one of those weddings where the dancefloor was packed from the first song to the very last.

A Wedding Dancefloor That Didn’t Quit

Kicking things off in style, Millie & Felix chose "Your Song" by Elton John for their first dance. A timeless classic, it set a beautiful, intimate tone before the night shifted straight into full party mode. No slow build-up here—the crowd was ready to go, and we hit them with back-to-back dancefloor anthems to keep the momentum soaring.

This was one of those nights where everything landed, with a mix of pop, indie, R&B, and classic singalongs firing up guests of all ages. Huge tracks from Beyoncé, Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, and The Killers kept the energy levels sky-high, while some 90s and 00s throwbacks had the whole dancefloor in nostalgic euphoria.

And when it came to the last song of the night? Wonderwall by Oasis—a huge, arms-around-each-other, sing-it-like-you-mean-it moment to close out an incredible wedding.

Big Tunes That Absolutely Worked

  • Mr. Brightside – The Killers (because obviously)

  • Crazy in Love – Beyoncé & JAY-Z (instant floor-filler)

  • Superstition – Stevie Wonder (one for the funk & soul heads)

  • Dancing in the Moonlight – Toploader (undeniable feel-good vibes)

  • We Found Love – Rihanna & Calvin Harris (huge euphoric moment)

Curveballs That Worked

  • Temperature – Sean Paul (bringing the dancehall heat)

  • Teenage Dirtbag – Wheatus (90s nostalgia singalong madness)

  • Murder on the Dancefloor – Sophie Ellis-Bextor (a crowd favourite right now!)

Vince & Ellie’s Wedding at The Glass House, Hackney – A Night of Unique Tunes & Big Energy

The Glass House in Hackney is an absolute gem of a venue—modern, airy, and packed with character. Nestled within Springfield Park, it offers stunning views and a bright, stylish space that transforms beautifully into an intimate party setting as the night unfolds. Vince & Ellie’s wedding here in June 2023 was an incredible night, filled with unique song choices, unexpected dancefloor moments, and an epic energy that didn’t dip for a second.

A First Dance with a Twist

Vince & Ellie didn’t go for a conventional first dance—they chose "I Choose You" by Willie Hutch, a leftfield but brilliant pick. It set a romantic yet soulful mood, giving the couple a special moment before quickly transitioning into a full-on party atmosphere. From the start, it was clear that this wasn’t going to be a night of cookie-cutter wedding tunes—every track was carefully considered and weaved seamlessly into the set.

A Playlist Like No Other

Their brief was to keep things eclectic and vibrant, blending classic disco, indie gems, and leftfield pop anthems. Some absolute highlights included:

  • Disco & Funk StaplesGot to Be Real (Cheryl Lynn), I Wanna Be Your Lover (Prince), and Dancing Queen (ABBA)

  • Indie & Leftfield Pop PicksRun Away With Me (Carly Rae Jepsen), Style (Taylor Swift), and Beg For You (Charli XCX & Rina Sawayama)

  • Unexpected ThrowbacksDon’t Mug Yourself (The Streets), Se Telefonando (Mina), and Okay Okay (Pino D’Angiò)

With a mix like this, the dancefloor was never predictable, but it was always full.

Curveballs That Worked

One of the standout things about this set was the way Vince & Ellie’s unexpected selections blended into the night. These tracks weren’t typical wedding floor-fillers, but they went off:

  • "Se Telefonando" – Mina – A gorgeous Italian classic that had a surprising number of guests singing along.

  • "Maledetta Primavera" – Loretta Goggi – Another deep Italian cut that brought some serious European flair to the set.

  • "Open Your Eyes" – Snow Patrol – A late-night moment that got hands in the air and voices singing in unison.

Big Tunes That Worked

While the playlist had its niche moments, there were also plenty of guaranteed party anthems that kept energy levels at a constant high:

  • "American Boy" – Estelle & Kanye West – Always a crowd-pleaser.

  • "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" – ABBA – A must-play for any wedding with a pop-loving crowd.

  • "Murder on the Dancefloor" – Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Safe to say this one has become an essential wedding banger in 2023.

Closing With a Bang

For the final stretch of the night, Vince & Ellie kept things interesting. Their last dance pick? "Saturday Night" by The Blue Nile—a perfect, atmospheric closer that left everyone on a high. Not your typical last song, but one that felt absolutely right in the moment.

WEDDING DJ AT BISTROTHEQUE LONDON

A Scottish-Inspired Celebration: Marcus & Ellima’s Wedding at Bistrotheque in BETHNAL GREEN

Bistrotheque is one of East London’s coolest wedding venues—tucked away in a quiet street, this industrial-chic restaurant is a hidden gem that offers incredible food, a sleek, modern aesthetic, and a buzzing atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for Marcus & Ellima’s wedding, bringing together their Scottish heritage with a love of great music, top-tier cocktails, and an all-night party vibe.

DJ Jon was on deck to curate a setlist that reflected the couple’s background and music taste, blending contemporary bangers with indie classics, Scottish anthems, and dancefloor fillers from across the decades.

A Unique Start to the Evening

Rather than opting for something overly sentimental, Marcus & Ellima kicked off the night with "You've Got The Love" by Florence & The Machine—an uplifting, euphoric choice that set the tone perfectly. Instead of a slow, traditional first dance, the couple invited everyone to join them straight away, getting the party started in style.

From there, the night rolled effortlessly through a mix of genres, featuring everything from Calvin Harris and CHVRCHES to classic singalongs like "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers", ensuring their Scottish roots were well represented.

A Dancefloor That Didn’t Stop

With a high-energy crowd that was up for anything, DJ Jon kept the floor moving with:

  • Big indie anthems – Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, and a dose of Oasis

  • Scottish classics – Biffy Clyro, Simple Minds, and a massive reaction to The Proclaimers

  • Dance bangers – Basement Jaxx, Faithless, and a bit of early 2000s Ministry of Sound magic

  • Throwback pop hits – Britney Spears, Robbie Williams, and Sugababes

The mix of modern and nostalgic tracks worked perfectly, keeping every generation on their feet throughout the night.

A Fitting Finale

As the night wound down, Marcus & Ellima had one last surprise up their sleeve. The penultimate track, "Loch Lomond" by Runrig", had the Scottish guests in full voice, arms around each other in a proper Highland-style sendoff. But the final track of the night was something that everyone could get behind—"Wonderwall" by Oasis". An emotional, arms-in-the-air moment that brought the wedding to a perfect close.

A Night to Remember

Marcus & Ellima’s wedding at Bistrotheque was an unforgettable night—an incredible venue, an amazing couple, and an electric atmosphere. The mix of indie, dance, and Scottish anthems made for a truly unique and personal soundtrack, and we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd.

Sheena & Phil’s Wedding at 100 Barrington – A Carefully Curated Party

Sheena & Phil’s wedding at 100 Barrington in Brixton was all about precision. The couple came to us with an extensive playlist and made it clear from the start—no veering off course. And we’re always happy to accommodate that! Their wedding was a masterclass in how to craft a party that perfectly reflects personal taste, with every track handpicked to match their vision.

100 Barrington is one of South London’s best-kept wedding venue secrets. A converted Victorian stable block, it boasts exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and a warm, intimate vibe that makes for a fantastic party setting. It’s got that perfect mix of urban cool and rustic charm—ideal for a night of dancing.

The Music – Sticking to the Script

With DJ Vicki Lou on the decks, the night kicked off with an energetic first dance: “Livin’ la Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin. Not your typical slow first dance moment—but exactly what Sheena & Phil wanted. From there, the playlist took us on a journey through 90s and 00s pop, R&B, and reggaeton, all perfectly sequenced to keep the dancefloor bouncing.

Requests? None. Guest input? Not needed. Sheena & Phil knew what they wanted, and the setlist reflected that. From Shakira and J.Lo to Pitbull and Sean Paul, the energy stayed high all night.

The final track of the night? “High” by Lighthouse Family—a euphoric singalong that had the entire room swaying, arms in the air, bringing the night to a perfect, sentimental close.

Big Tunes That Worked

  • “Mi Gente” – J Balvin & Willy William – Massive reaction, especially from the reggaeton lovers in the crowd.

  • “What’s Luv?” – Fat Joe & Ashanti – Instantly filled the floor with 00s R&B heads.

  • “Boom Boom Boom” – Vengaboys – Pure nostalgia-fuelled chaos.

  • “Flowers” – Sweet Female Attitude (Sunship Remix) – A must-play UKG classic that went off.

THE BARBICAN WEDDING DJ, LONDON

WEDDING DJ AT THE BARBICAN

A Transatlantic Celebration: Natasha & Justin’s Wedding at The Barbican

Few wedding venues in London can match the striking beauty of The Barbican. With its iconic Brutalist architecture and lush conservatory, this venue is as unique as they come. It’s always a pleasure to DJ here, and Natasha & Justin’s October wedding was a night to remember.

Justin, originally from the U.S., and Natasha, who spent time living in Australia, had a guest list that brought together a vibrant mix of cultures and musical influences. Their wedding soundtrack reflected this perfectly—blending timeless classics, modern pop, Aussie indie, and U.S. hip-hop for an eclectic, high-energy party that had something for everyone.

From the outset, this was all about bringing people together on the dancefloor. The couple opted not to go for a formal first dance, instead kicking things off with an all-in moment as the party started straight away. The mix of guests meant the music needed to hit a wide range of tastes, and we pulled out everything from Fleetwood Mac and The Killers to OutKast and Beyoncé. A heavy dose of Aussie legends like Tame Impala and Empire of the Sun gave a nod to Natasha’s time in Australia, while Justin made sure there was a strong showing of classic hip-hop and U.S. singalongs.

As the drinks flowed and the dancefloor packed out, we built up the tempo with house anthems and indie classics, keeping the energy high throughout the night. The final stretch saw an epic singalong to Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time’, bringing the night to an unforgettable close.

Big Tunes That Worked:

  • Empire of the Sun – Walking on a Dream – Aussie classic, went down a storm.

  • Fleetwood Mac – Everywhere – Pure feel-good vibes.

  • OutKast – Hey Ya! – Never fails to get people moving.

  • Jay-Z & Alicia Keys – Empire State of Mind – A nod to the groom’s U.S. roots.

  • The Killers – Mr. Brightside – Still one of the most unstoppable wedding anthems.

Curveballs That Worked:

  • Tame Impala – The Less I Know The Better – A rare wedding choice but got a massive reaction.

  • The Avalanches – Since I Left You – Unexpected but fit the mood perfectly.

  • Blink-182 – All the Small Things – Mid-00s pop-punk moment that had everyone jumping.

  • Notorious B.I.G. – Mo Money Mo Problems – A hip-hop classic that got a huge response.

  • RÜFÜS DU SOL – Innerbloom – One for the late-night deep house heads.

This was an absolute blast of a wedding at one of our favourite venues. If you’re planning a Barbican wedding DJ, or a wedding anywhere in London, let’s chat about making your night just as unforgettable.

WEDDING DJ LOFT STUDIOS

Loft Studios Wedding DJ – Damian & Ellie’s Epic Celebration

Loft Studios is one of London’s coolest warehouse-style wedding venues, and it comes with one seriously impressive feature—a gigantic mirrorball hanging above the dancefloor. This isn’t just any mirrorball; it’s the kind that turns a great party into a next-level party, scattering beams of light across the exposed brick walls and giving the whole room that proper, old-school club feel. With DJ Vicki Lou on the decks and a crowd ready to go all night, Damian & Ellie’s wedding was an absolute masterclass in how to throw a party.

A Setlist Built for Maximum Energy

From the moment the first dance kicked off with "Dreams" by Gabrielle, it was clear that this wasn’t going to be a slow-burn kind of wedding—it was full throttle from the start. The second track of the night, "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston, set the tone for what was to come—pure, unfiltered, high-energy fun.

Damian & Ellie’s playlist was one of those that just had everything. Disco classics like "Murder on the Dancefloor" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor" and "Club Tropicana" by Wham! sat alongside 00s indie favourites, from "Like a Prayer" by Madonna" to "Sk8er Boi" by Avril Lavigne". The mix of house, pop, and indie meant the dancefloor stayed packed, and with a crowd as up for it as this one, every single tune landed.

Later in the night, things took a shift into proper club-mode, with massive anthems like "Call on Me" by Eric Prydz" and "Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic" taking things to the next level. And just when it felt like the energy might start to dip? A dose of Kylie Minogue’s "Padam Padam" and a surprise drop of "Cry for You" by September" sent the room absolutely wild.

For the final stretch, it was all about hands-in-the-air, end-of-the-night classics. The closing combo of "Born Slippy (Nuxx)" by Underworld" followed by "Live Forever" by Oasis" was the kind of send-off that leaves people buzzing long after the last tune has played. And the last track? "Billie (Loving Arms)" by Fred again.."—a euphoric, emotional finish to an absolutely unforgettable night.

Big Tunes That Worked:

  • "Padam Padam" – Kylie Minogue – A total crowd-pleaser. The reaction was massive.

  • "Superstar" – Jamelia – One of those tracks that you forget is a banger until you hear it again.

  • "SexyBack" – Justin Timberlake – Huge, especially for the 00s kids.

Unexpected Bangers:

  • "Gotta Get Thru This" – Daniel Bedingfield – Came out of nowhere and absolutely went off.

  • "Cry for You" – September – Pure dancefloor euphoria.

  • "Pump Up the Jam" – Technotronic – Early 90s house still doing the business.

  • "Marea (We've Lost Dancing)" – Fred again.. – Perfectly placed late in the night.

  • "The Less I Know the Better" – Tame Impala – Had the indie crowd singing every word.

THE DEPOT WEDDING DJ

WEDDING DJ THE DEPOT

Will & Laurisa’s Wedding at The Depot – A Night to Remember!

We love playing at The Depot in Islington—one of London’s best-kept wedding venue secrets! With its stylish industrial feel, high ceilings, and fantastic food, it’s a venue that always delivers on atmosphere. RedLine DJs are proud to be on The Depot’s preferred supplier list, and we’ve played here a lot over the years. So when Will & Laurisa booked us for their wedding in November, we knew it was going to be a party to remember.

The Perfect Playlist

Will & Laurisa put together a killer brief, mixing soul, funk, 90s R&B, pop bangers, and indie classics. With DJ Jon on the decks, the dancefloor was full from start to finish, kicking off with their first dance—"Nothing Can Change This Love" by Sam Cooke. A timeless, soulful choice that set a romantic tone before things ramped up.

From there, we hit the ground running with a mix of Motown classics, disco, and R&B, keeping all generations happy. Songs like "Respect" by Aretha Franklin, "Dancing in the Street" by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, and "Young Hearts Run Free" by Candi Staton got everyone moving early in the night. Later, the energy shifted into modern pop and indie, with Lizzo, Beyoncé, and Dua Lipa keeping the momentum high before we hit a run of nostalgic 00s singalongs (yes, "Mr Brightside" was in there!).

For the last song of the night, Will & Laurisa chose the epic "Love Story (Taylor’s Version)" by Taylor Swift, ending the night with an emotional, full-venue singalong.

Big Tunes That Worked

  • "Show Me Love" – Robin S – A guaranteed floor-filler, always goes off.

  • "Return of the Mack" – Mark Morrison – Absolute 90s R&B classic that had every guest on the dancefloor.

  • "I Follow Rivers (The Magician Remix)" – Lykke Li – One of those tunes that people don’t expect to hear but instantly love.

  • "Super Bass" – Nicki Minaj – The bride and bridesmaids went wild for this one!

Unexpected Bangers

  • "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" – ABBA – The crowd went fully in for this one, arms in the air, total madness!

  • "Discoproof" – La Roux & Chromeo – Not an obvious wedding song, but the groove was too strong to resist.

  • "Padam Padam" – Kylie Minogue – One for the newer pop heads, and a huge moment for the bride’s friends.

Another Unforgettable Night at The Depot

Huge thanks to Will & Laurisa for having us as part of their wedding at The Depot—an amazing venue that we always love returning to. If you’re planning a wedding here (or anywhere else in London), get in touch!

JONES & SONS WEDDING DJ - WOODFORD GREEN

WEDDING DJ JONES & SONS, WOODFORD GREEN

Adam & Scott’s Wedding at Jones & Sons: A Festive First for a Brand-New Wedding Venue

Some weddings just have that extra bit of magic, and Adam & Scott’s December wedding at Jones & Sons' brand-new restaurant and wedding venue in Woodford Green was exactly that. A perfect blend of festive cheer, high-energy party vibes, and an all-in atmosphere, their big day was an unforgettable way to kick off the wedding history of this stunning new venue.

With DJ Jon on the decks, the night was packed with huge tunes, singalong moments, and a full-throttle dancefloor that barely took a break. This was not your standard wedding format—Adam & Scott scrapped the slow first dance moment in favor of something way more inclusive. From the very first track, they pulled everyone onto the floor with them, making sure the night was one long, epic celebration rather than a stop-start affair.

A Venue Making History

It’s always an honor to be part of something special, and being the DJ for the very first wedding ever hosted at this new Jones & Sons restaurant and wedding venue made the night even bigger. Jones & Sons are known for their incredible dining experiences, and now they’ve entered the wedding scene in serious style. If this wedding was anything to go by, they’re about to become one of London’s most exciting new wedding venues.

Straight into the Party—No Holding Back

Right from the first track, Adam & Scott made it clear that this was going to be a proper party. No awkward slow dance, no polite shuffling—just pure, high-energy celebration. Kicking things off with "Ain’t Nobody" by Chaka Khan, the whole wedding party hit the dancefloor together, instantly setting the tone for a night of huge anthems, nonstop movement, and big singalong energy.

The setlist was exactly what a December wedding needs—a mix of timeless disco, R&B classics, noughties throwbacks, and full-on house party chaos. Every track was hand-picked to match Adam & Scott’s vibe, ensuring that there was never a lull in the action.

Biggest Dancefloor Moments

  • "Levitating" – Dua Lipa – Certified crowd pleaser, this one got the room bouncing.

  • "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" – Whitney Houston – You can’t do a wedding without this.

  • "Push the Button" – Sugababes – Unbelievable reaction—early 2000s nostalgia at its peak.

  • "Murder on the Dancefloor" – Sophie Ellis-Bextor – No wedding in 2024 is complete without this banger.

  • "Freed From Desire" – Gala – Everyone was jumping in unison for this one.

  • "Superstar" – Jamelia – A track you don’t hear at every wedding, but this went off.

  • "Just Dance" – Lady Gaga – A moment of pure euphoria on the floor.

Festive Touches & A Huge Finale

With the wedding happening just before Christmas, there was no way we weren’t going to bring some festive energy into the mix. The moment "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey dropped as the last song of the night, the entire room went into full Christmas mode—belting it out like a choir, drinks in the air, total chaos in the best way.

Bespoke Wedding Entertainment at Its Best

This night was the perfect example of what RedLine DJs do best—completely tailor-made, high-energy, unforgettable wedding sets that are built around each couple’s vision. Adam & Scott didn’t want a traditional wedding—they wanted a party, and we made sure that’s exactly what they got. Every track was handpicked, every transition was seamless, and the energy never dropped for a second.

A massive congratulations to Adam & Scott, and a huge shoutout to Jones & Sons for setting the bar incredibly high for their first ever wedding. If this is how they’re starting, we can’t wait to see what’s next.

WEDDING DJ PELHAM HOUSE

Lawrence & Narae’s Wedding at Pelham House: A Truly One-of-a-Kind Celebration

Some weddings are special, and then there’s Lawrence & Narae’s wedding at Pelham House—a night that took “bespoke” to the next level. From the groom’s custom pink rose three-piece suit to a novelty Lord of the Rings-inspired first dance, this was a wedding that embraced personality, fun, and a playlist built to match.

Gandalf wedding DJ

A First Dance Like No Other

No slow sway under the spotlight here—Lawrence & Narae kicked off their reception with full LOTR energy. Their first dance featured “Gandalf Style”, a parody of "Gangnam Style," and DJ Jon was fully committed, donning a full Gandalf costume for the occasion. It set the perfect tone for a wedding that refused to play by the rules.

A Setlist Packed with Surprises

Once the first dance wrapped up, the night dived into an eclectic, high-energy mix, reflecting the couple’s anything-goes approach to their big day. This wasn’t just another wedding playlist—it was a journey through pop, party anthems, and unexpected bangers that kept guests on their toes.

Some of the standouts included:

  • "Boom Boom Boom Boom!!" – Vengaboys – No one can resist it. A certified guilty pleasure.

  • "Turn Down for What" – DJ Snake & Lil Jon – Pure energy as the night ramped up.

  • "Danza Kuduro" – Don Omar & Lucenzo – The perfect rhythm to keep bodies moving.

  • "Kung Fu Fighting" – Carl Douglas – A cheeky nod to the couple’s playful vibe.

  • "One Pound Fish" – £1 Fish Man – Completely unexpected, completely brilliant.

  • "Tribute" – Tenacious D – Rock anthems were absolutely on the table.

The Huge Finish

With a wedding this unconventional, it needed a massive finale. Just as the energy peaked, "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers took over, uniting the entire room in one massive singalong. And for the last song of the night? "Time to Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman—a theatrical, unexpected ending that felt completely on-brand for this brilliantly unique wedding.

The Epitome of Bespoke Wedding Entertainment

This night was the perfect example of what RedLine DJs do best—delivering a highly tailored, high-energy experience that captures exactly who our couples are. Whether it's a Lord of the Rings-themed first dance, a Gandalf-costumed DJ, or a playlist packed with unexpected fire, every wedding we play is crafted to be a perfect reflection of the couple.

Huge congratulations to Lawrence & Narae! This was a wedding we won’t forget anytime soon.

FABRICA WEDDING DJ - BRIGHTON

WEDDING DJ at FABRICA, BRIGHTON

Carlos & Clare’s Wedding at Fabrica: A Latin-Infused Party in Brighton

Carlos & Clare’s wedding at Fabrica in Brighton was a masterclass in what RedLine DJs do best—delivering bespoke, highly tailored, high-quality wedding DJ sets. We don’t do one-size-fits-all playlists—every set is built around the couple’s vision, and this one was all about big energy, Latin heat, and dancefloor chaos. Being on Fabrica’s preferred suppliers list, we know how to turn this venue into a full-blown party, and DJ Jon did exactly that.

First Dance – Fistful of Love by Antony and the Johnsons

Carlos & Clare went with "Fistful of Love" by Antony and the Johnsons for their first dance—a bold, left-field choice that made for a seriously cool moment before things kicked off into full party mode.

Funk, Soul & Disco to Get Things Moving

The early set was all about classic grooves and instant dancefloor magnets:

  • "Young Hearts Run Free" by Candi Staton – Straight in, no hesitation.

  • "I’m Coming Out" by Diana Ross – Pure feel-good energy.

  • "Kiss" by Prince – Funky, sharp, and impossible to stand still to.

  • "Best of My Love" by The Emotions – A perfect build-up before the energy skyrocketed.

The Latin Section Brings the Heat

With Carlos’ Hispanic roots, Latin tracks weren’t just included—they were essential. The dancefloor energy went up a level as the reggaeton and Latin beats took over:

  • "Bailando" by Enrique Iglesias – Instant hands-in-the-air moment.

  • "Lo Que Pasó, Pasó" by Daddy Yankee – The rhythm hit different.

  • "Hips Don’t Lie" by Shakira – No excuses, everyone had to move for this one.

  • "Mundian To Bach Ke" by Panjabi MC – A total wild card that went off.

This wasn’t just a playlist—it was Carlos & Clare’s perfect party, built exactly around what they wanted.

The True Curveballs That Landed Hard

At RedLine DJs, we make sure every set has those unexpected moments that hit differently. These ones came out of nowhere and smashed it:

  • "1, 2 Step" by Ciara & Missy Elliott – 00s R&B nostalgia overload.

  • "Ghetto Superstar" by Pras, ODB & Mya – Nobody saw it coming, but everyone sang along.

  • "What You Know" by Two Door Cinema Club – Indie fans got their moment, and they made it count.

  • "The Tide Is High" by The Paragons – A reggae classic that brought everyone together.

The Drum & Bass Takeover

And then, just when people thought the night might slow down, DJ Jon flipped the script and sent the whole wedding into a drum and bass frenzy:

  • "Original Nuttah" by UK Apache & Shy FX – Absolute riot, floor was bouncing.

  • "Baddadan" by Chase & Status – Peak energy, bass shook the room.

  • "Disconnect" by Becky Hill & Chase & Status – Vocals, build-ups, massive drop—perfection.

  • "BACKBONE" by Chase & Status & Stormzy – Hard-hitting, no holding back.

The reaction? Mayhem! A drum and bass section at a wedding isn’t always the obvious choice, but when RedLine DJs tailor a set, we make sure it fits perfectly.

A Huge Finish – Dreams by Gabrielle

To bring it all to a close, "Dreams" by Gabrielle had the whole room belting it out, arms around each other, massive smiles all around. A proper singalong moment to wrap up an insane night.

Carlos & Clare—That’s How You Throw a Party

This was exactly what we’re all about at RedLine DJs—tailor-made sets, built around the couple, and executed to perfection. No two weddings are the same, and Carlos & Clare’s was a perfect example of that.

Being a preferred supplier at Fabrica, we know how to work this space to create the best possible atmosphere, and once again, the dancefloor absolutely delivered.

Another wedding, another party built exactly the way it should be.

Flo & Chris’ Wedding at Wasing Park: A Soundtrack with a Twist

Flo & Chris’ wedding at Wasing Park had everything—a beautiful venue, an unexpected first dance, and a setlist built exactly for them. At RedLine DJs, we don’t do generic wedding sets—every playlist is tailored to the couple and their crowd, and DJ Jon made sure this one hit every note perfectly. From kid-friendly bangers to huge singalongs and curveballs that landed hard, this was a dancefloor that never let up.

A First Dance That Stole the Show

Flo & Chris didn’t go for a standard first dance moment. Instead, they flipped the script—starting with all couples on the dancefloor before slowly peeling away throughout the song, leaving just the newlyweds and the longest-married couple. It was a brilliantly unique touch that had everyone fully invested from the start.

The Kid-Friendly Kick-Off

Before things got wild, the kids had their moment. With tracks like "Happy" by Pharrell Williams and "Can’t Stop the Feeling!" by Justin Timberlake, the early part of the evening had a proper family-friendly festival feel, letting the younger guests burn off some energy before bedtime.

Then, the switch flipped. "Dancing in the Street" by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton, and "Respect" by Aretha Franklin kicked things into full wedding party mode, bringing generations together in the way that only a killer wedding playlist can.

High-Energy Classics and Wedding Gold

Once the kids had cleared the floor, it was time for the real party. The night quickly turned into an unstoppable wave of singalongs and big moments:

  • "Move Your Feet" by Junior Senior – Pure energy injection.

  • "All Falls Down" by Kanye West & Syleena Johnson – A modern classic that got a big reaction.

  • "Lay All Your Love on Me" by ABBA – No wedding is complete without an ABBA moment.

  • "Midnight City" by M83 – That synth riff hit hard in the best way.

The Unexpected Bangers

Every wedding has those songs that take over the room in a way nobody expects. At Flo & Chris’ wedding, a few stood out:

  • "Tiger Feet" by Mud – You don’t think about it until you hear it, and then it’s chaos.

  • "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede – A bit of a wild card, but the crowd was fully on board.

  • "Always" by Blink-182 – A pop-punk slow-burner that hit the nostalgia sweet spot.

The Grand Finale

As the night reached its peak, "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers brought out the usual wedding-wide singalong, and then it all wrapped up with "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis—a slow-burning anthem that had the whole room arms around shoulders, voices at full volume.

Flo & Chris’ Wedding – A Perfectly Tailored Setlist

This is what RedLine DJs is all about—no copy-paste playlists, no generic sets, just bespoke, highly curated wedding soundtracks that perfectly reflect each couple.

Flo & Chris’ wedding at Wasing Park was built around them—from the thoughtful first dance to the kid-friendly section and the unexpected bangers that kept the dancefloor moving all night.

Congrats Flo & Chris – that was a night to remember!

WEDDING DJ at THE ITALIAN GREYHOUND, MARBLE ARCH

Mimi & Sean’s Wedding at The Italian Greyhound, Marble Arch

Mimi & Sean’s wedding at The Italian Greyhound was a night to remember—an intimate, stylish London venue that was the perfect setting for an epic celebration. Nestled in Marble Arch, this venue combines a relaxed but elegant atmosphere with incredible food and drink, making it an ideal spot for couples looking for something a little different in the heart of the West End.

A Dancefloor-First Wedding

From the start, it was clear that this was a wedding where the party would be front and center. With a Dutch bride and a British groom, the music was all about bringing two cultures together and making sure every single guest hit the dancefloor. From the first track to the last, the energy didn’t drop.

Mimi & Sean opted for Barry White’s "You’re The First, The Last, My Everything" to kick off the evening. A timeless classic with an irresistible groove, it was the perfect way to open up the dancefloor, and guests wasted no time getting involved.

The Soundtrack to a Perfect Night

Once the first dance wrapped up, we moved through an incredible mix of genres, ensuring every guest had their moment. Some highlights included:

  • Disco legends: Earth, Wind & Fire’s "September" and Shalamar’s "A Night to Remember" kept the vibe funky.

  • Pop anthems: Whitney Houston’s "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and Outkast’s "Hey Ya!" ensured full-on dancefloor chaos.

  • Dutch bangers: The bride’s heritage was represented with "Sternenstof" by De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, getting a massive reaction from the Dutch side of the wedding party.

  • Classic singalongs: "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers and "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay made for some high-energy, full-volume moments.

As the night reached its peak, the final track of the night was a big one—"Narcotic" by Liquido. A song that resonated with everyone, it brought the night to a euphoric close, with arms around shoulders and voices at full volume.

Unexpected Bangers & Dancefloor Highlights

  • Curveballs that went OFF: "Gasolina" by Daddy Yankee and "Dance Wiv Me" by Dizzee Rascal & Calvin Harris brought the heat unexpectedly.

  • Big tunes that worked: Beyoncé’s "Crazy in Love" and Gala’s "Freed from Desire" both got huge reactions.

  • Underrated classics: "Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie and "Dreams (Deep Dish Remix)" by Stevie Nicks added some serious vibes to the mix.

Mimi & Sean’s wedding was a perfect example of how RedLine DJs create a bespoke, high-energy, and tailored wedding soundtrack. Every request was honored, every guest had their moment, and the result was a wedding party that nobody wanted to end.

If you’re planning a wedding at The Italian Greyhound (or any other London venue), let’s chat about how we can make your wedding music just as epic!

WEDDING DJ MOTEL STUDIOS, LONDON

Alex & Natassa’s Wedding at Motel Studios: A Greek Celebration with a Dancefloor to Match

Some weddings are all about energy, and Alex & Natassa’s wedding at Motel Studios delivered just that. With a playlist built for movement, a proper Greek section that had the whole venue on their feet, and a dancefloor that refused to slow down, this was a night that proved once again why RedLine DJs specialize in bespoke, cross-cultural wedding sets.

A First Dance That Kicked Things Off in Style

Alex & Natassa chose "Dancing in the Moonlight" by Toploader for their first dance—a feel-good, singalong anthem that set the mood perfectly. And in keeping with the couple’s all-in energy, this wasn’t a slow, intimate first dance moment—it was an open invitation for everyone to join in and kick off the night the right way.

A Playlist Built for a Proper Party

From disco and pop classics to Greek bangers that had the whole room moving, this was a setlist with no filler—just pure energy from start to finish. Every track was tailored to Alex & Natassa, ensuring that the dancefloor stayed packed all night.

Biggest Floorfillers of the Night:

  • "Voulez-Vous" – ABBA – Timeless disco, and the crowd gave it everything.

  • "September" – Earth, Wind & Fire – Guaranteed dancefloor ignition.

  • "Walking on Sunshine" – Katrina & The Waves – Pure joy, pure movement.

  • "Super Trouper" – ABBA – A massive singalong moment.

  • "Uptown Funk" – Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars – No one left standing still for this one.

The Greek Section That Took Over

One of the biggest highlights of the night was the Greek section—a moment where tradition met pure, unfiltered dancefloor energy. Greek weddings bring a completely different level of crowd participation, and this one was no exception.

With tracks like "Zorba the Greek" and "Siko Horepse Koukli Mou", the room erupted into circle dancing, clapping, and the kind of atmosphere you only get at a Greek wedding. This is exactly the kind of cross-cultural wedding energy that RedLine DJs are built for—knowing when to seamlessly blend different musical influences so that everyone feels included.

The Grand Finale

As the night reached its peak, DJ Jon lined up the final tracks to close out the party in style. The whole room belted out every word to "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers, before Alex & Natassa wrapped it all up with "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey—a massive festive send-off that had the whole wedding singing together.

Cross-Cultural Weddings Are What We Do Best

At RedLine DJs, we don’t just play music—we build soundtracks that perfectly reflect the couples we play for. Whether it’s a fully traditional wedding, a genre-spanning dance party, or an international fusion of cultures, we make sure the music tells the couple’s story exactly as it should be told.

Alex & Natassa’s wedding at Motel Studios was a perfect example—a night filled with energy, tradition, and an absolutely unstoppable dancefloor.

Elise & Rob’s Wedding at Pedro’s Wine Bar: A Disco-Fueled Dancefloor Takeover

Elise & Rob’s wedding at Pedro’s Wine Bar in SW London was the perfect example of what RedLine DJs do best—bespoke, highly tailored, high-quality wedding DJ sets. Every couple has their own vibe, and every wedding we play is crafted around their exact vision. With DJ Vicki Lou at the helm, this night was all about disco, funk, and massive singalong anthems, delivering a setlist that felt like it was made just for them—because it was.

First Dance – You've Got the Love by Florence + The Machine

Elise & Rob kicked things off with "You've Got the Love" by Florence + The Machine, an uplifting, euphoric anthem that set the tone for the night perfectly. From the first chorus, it was clear this crowd came to dance hard and sing louder.

Pure Disco Gold

Elise & Rob’s playlist had one mission—get people moving early and keep them there. The opening run was disco at its finest, setting the energy high:

  • "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" by ABBA – Big, bold, and straight in at the top.

  • "Boogie Wonderland" by Earth, Wind & Fire – Classic grooves and next-level footwork.

  • "Stayin’ Alive" by Bee Gees – Disco royalty doing what they do best.

  • "Le Freak" by Chic – Basslines for days.

  • "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer – A full diva moment for the floor.

80s & 90s Bangers Keep the Floor Moving

After the disco warm-up, things got bigger, bolder, and even more fun with some 80s and 90s icons:

  • "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics – Instantly recognisable, and the crowd erupted.

  • "Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic – The biggest 90s house moment of the night.

  • "Rhythm Is a Dancer" by SNAP! – 90s euphoria levels off the charts.

  • "What Is Love" by Haddaway – No wedding setlist is complete without this one.

  • "Blue Monday" by New Order – A massive synth-driven anthem that hit hard.

Curveballs That Hit Hard

At RedLine DJs, we don’t do copy-paste wedding sets—we make sure every single wedding is a reflection of the couple. Elise & Rob’s night had a few curveballs that added their own personal stamp to the set:

  • "Ride on Time" by Black Box – A massive throwback that kicked the party up a notch.

  • "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani – Unexpected but absolutely worked.

  • "Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)" by Crystal Waters – A deep house classic that slotted in perfectly.

  • "Mo Money Mo Problems" by The Notorious B.I.G. – Pure throwback nostalgia, crowd loved it.

A Huge Finish – Praise You by Fatboy Slim

To wrap things up, "Praise You" by Fatboy Slim brought everyone together for a huge final singalong, with arms in the air, voices at full volume, and one last unforgettable moment on the dancefloor.

Elise & Rob—That’s How You Throw a Party

At RedLine DJs, we’re all about making sure every wedding is a perfect musical reflection of the couple—no generic sets, no filler, just the best possible soundtrack to match the people in the room. Elise & Rob’s wedding was exactly that—a flawless mix of their influences, crowd energy, and pure dancefloor magic.

JONES & SONS WEDDING DJ - DALSTON, LONDON

WEDDING DJ at jones & sons, dalston

Sophia & Harry’s Wedding at Jones & Sons: A Dancefloor Marathon

Sophia & Harry’s wedding at Jones & Sons was exactly what a wedding should be—a night of big tunes, packed dancefloors, and zero pretension. We are incredibly privileged to be on the preferred suppliers list at this venue and it never disappoints. It’s got that perfect mix of laid-back cool and proper party energy, making it one of the best places in London to throw a wedding that really feels like a celebration.

This time, DJ Edamame was in charge of keeping the party going, and with a playlist like this, the mission was clear—get everyone up, keep them moving, and lean into the fun side of things.

A First Dance That Hit Just Right

Sophia & Harry kicked things off with "This Must Be The Place (Naïve Melody)" by Talking Heads—a first dance that felt effortless and cool without trying too hard. A perfect warm-up before the setlist took a sharp turn towards full-blown wedding party mode.

Straight out of the gate, "Feels Like I’m in Love" by Kelly Marie and "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" by ABBA got everyone loosened up and in the mood to party. It was clear early on that this was going to be a night of singalongs, disco grooves, and a bit of playful chaos.

The Soundtrack to an Unapologetic Good Time

With a setlist like this, there was no room for wallflowers. "Murder on the Dancefloor" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, "I Want Your Love" by Chic, and "Into the Groove" by Madonna brought that disco energy, while Spice Girls’ "Who Do You Think You Are" had people throwing out dance moves they’d clearly been saving for the right occasion.

From George Michael’s "Faith" to Dolly Parton’s "Jolene", this was pure, unfiltered wedding gold—the kind of set where everyone knows the words, and nobody cares how they sound singing them.

The Wild Cards That Landed

Not every track was a safe bet, but that’s what made the night even better. Some curveballs went down way better than you might expect:

  • "Burning Down the House" by Talking Heads – A moment of controlled chaos.

  • "Texas Hold ‘Em" by Beyoncé – Maybe divisive, but this crowd was into it.

  • "Let’s Have a Kiki" by Scissor Sisters – Unexpected, camp, and absolutely brilliant.

  • "Edge of Seventeen" by Stevie Nicks – You might not think of it as a dancefloor anthem… until you see an entire room lose themselves to that riff.

From Wedding Floor to Full Club Energy

Later on, things got a bit more clubby, with some heavy hitters in the mix:

  • "Groove Is in the Heart" by Deee-Lite – Remains unstoppable.

  • "Red Alert" by Basement Jaxx – Straight-up party mode.

  • "Satisfaction" by Benny Benassi – A gear shift, but it worked.

  • "Pon De Floor" by Major Lazer – This one hit harder than expected.

By the time "The Rhythm of the Night" by Corona dropped, the room had officially entered peak 90s dance nostalgia.

The Perfect End to a Proper Party

To wrap things up, Sophia & Harry went with "Believe" by Cher", which, let’s be honest, is simply a great choice of closing song for a wedding. A final, full-throttle singalong, a bit of dancefloor dramatics, and the kind of ending that guarantees sore feet and slightly hoarse voices the next morning.

Jones & Sons delivered yet again, and Sophia & Harry’s crowd proved that sometimes, the best wedding parties are the ones that don’t take themselves too seriously. Big shoutout to DJ Edamame for keeping the night moving from start to finish.

Congrats Sophia & Harry – that was a proper wedding party.
