Brockwell Hall Wedding DJ – Andy & Amy’s Summer Blowout in South London

Last Song of the Night: Live Forever – Oasis
DJ: Jon
Lighting Package: Flown mirrorball, moving heads, uplighters, dedicated lighting tech.

Brockwell Hall is one of South London’s most talked-about new wedding venues—and it’s easy to see why. Tucked away inside Brockwell Park, just a short stroll from Herne Hill and Brixton, the newly renovated venue is a stunning glass-fronted space that manages to feel both modern and romantic, with panoramic views of the surrounding greenery and skyline. We’re proud to be on the suppliers list here and were buzzing to play our first official wedding at the venue for Andy & Amy in August 2025.

The couple brought an incredible crowd—full of energy, up for a proper party, and totally game from the first track to the last. With a groom from Stoke (more on that shortly), a perfect summer evening, and a seriously stylish couple who wanted a massive party, this one went off.

The Music: A Packed Floor from the Jump

We kicked things off with a dream of a first dance—Loud Places by Jamie xx & Romy. Atmospheric, heartfelt, and surprisingly danceable, it set the tone perfectly. From there, it was all systems go. A blend of modern disco, 90s indie-dance crossovers, and euphoric classics kept the floor filled from start to finish.

The crowd was up for everything. Think Donna Summer into ABBA into Hot Chip. Think Kylie into Gipsy Kings into Peggy Gou. And yes, Stoke was very well represented—Robbie got multiple outings (including Feel and Angels, obviously).

We also saw the indie kids come alive late in the night with a closing run that included This Must Be the Place and Live Forever, bringing it all home with a proper arms-round-your-mates finish.

Big Tunes That Hit

  • Music Sounds Better With You – Stardust

  • Praise You – Fatboy Slim

  • Dancing on My Own – Robyn

  • Gimme Gimme Gimme – ABBA

  • Push the Button – Sugababes

Curveballs That Worked

  • Rasputin – Boney M

  • Superstylin’ – Groove Armada

  • Romeo – Basement Jaxx

  • Keep the Fire Burning – Gwen McCrae (Joey Negro mix)

Lighting That Took It Up a Gear

Andy & Amy went big on production—and it paid off. Andy & Amy went for a Full Send lighting package, complete with a flown mirrorball, full uplighter wash, 6 moving heads, and a dedicated lighting tech running DMX-controlled scenes all night. The result? A visually stunning setup that elevated the dancefloor experience from good to unforgettable.

The mirrorball looked incredible in that space—sparkles everywhere, bouncing off the glass walls and ceiling like some kind of disco greenhouse. It was easily one of the most visually spectacular weddings we’ve done all year.
