GOODENOUGH COLLEGE WEDDING DJ, RUSSELL SQUARE
Nat & Tom's Goodenough College Wedding - August 2025
Nestled in the heart of Russell Square, Goodenough College is hands down one of London’s most underrated and under booked wedding venues. Don’t be fooled by the academic name – this place isn’t just “good enough,” (lol) it’s full-on stunning. The venue combines historic architecture with leafy gardens, old-school charm with modern polish. It’s like getting married inside a Richard Curtis film set, but with a killer sound system (this is where we come in).
We were absolutely buzzing to be added to the suppliers list at Goodenough College, and even more so when Nat & Tom got in touch. These two brought pure energy to their day – a Romanian-American combo who knew exactly how they wanted their night to go: zero airs and graces, maximum party.
From the second the dancefloor opened, it was carnage – in the best possible way. Bride and groom planted themselves on the dancefloor and didn’t move for hours. No disappearing for cig breaks, no long catch-ups with Auntie Margaret in the corner – they were locked in and absolutely living it.
This was the kind of wedding where you feel like you’ve been transported straight into a (an albeit very opulent) festival tent – sweaty, euphoric, and with bangers flying in thick and fast.
Music Highlights
The musical brief was clear: fun, high-energy, and with a strong tilt toward Europop and Romanian hits to keep the bride’s side of the family in the zone. Think O-Zone’s ‘Dragostea Din Tei’, Akcent, and a healthy sprinkle of Euroclub anthems. The American side brought the big singalongs – from Bon Jovi and Backstreet Boys to Beyoncé and Queen.
These guys didn’t just want a playlist – they wanted a full experience. It was high-energy chaos from first song to last.
First dance: Elvis Presley – Can’t Help Falling In Love
Last song of the night: Whitney Houston – I Wanna Dance With Somebody
You love to see it.

The Setup
For this one, we went with the full daytime package: wireless mics for speeches, uplighters to warm the space, subs to bring the low-end, and a few extra moving heads to elevate the look as the sun went down. Goodenough College is a classy space, but once you add in the light show and serious volume, it morphs into a proper party spot.
Why We Loved This One
It’s easy to say “amazing couple, amazing night” – but this genuinely was. Nat & Tom’s commitment to making their wedding a full-throttle party was infectious. There’s a special kind of magic when the couple lead from the front, and their energy completely set the tone for the entire room. Everyone followed their lead, and the result was one of the most fun nights of the summer.
Also – serious props for the international blend of music. So many couples are scared to lean into music that isn't on every 'wedding classics' list, but this just proved that bold choices + confident vibes = huge dancefloor fun.
