THE LORDSHIP PUB WEDDING DJ, DULWICH

Wedding DJ at The Lordship, East Dulwich – Alex & Iona

There’s something special about a pub wedding, especially when the couple takes over the whole place and turns it into one big chaotic, joyous mess. That’s exactly what happened at Alex & Iona’s wedding at The Lordship in East Dulwich – a total riot from start to finish in the best possible way.

The Lordship – A Local Gem in East Dulwich

If you don’t know The Lordship, it’s a cracking little pub tucked away in SE22. Think stripped-back interiors, great food, a properly stocked bar, and a team who actually give a damn. It’s the kind of venue that doesn’t need dressing up – it’s already full of character – and it was the perfect backdrop for Alex & Iona’s effortlessly cool summer wedding.

This was our first time at the venue but we would play here again in a heartbeat. Great team, great flow, and the kind of vibe that encourages people to let loose.

A Fred Again First Dance and a Wild Finish

Alex & Iona kicked things off with ‘Adore U’ by Fred Again – a brilliant choice for a first dance that set the tone perfectly. Romantic, modern, emotional, and not at all cheesy. That same tone ran through the night: no filler, no tired wedding tropes – just a packed dancefloor, genre-hopping mayhem, and an energy that didn’t drop once.

They wrapped it all up with ‘You Got The Love’ by Florence + The Machine – an emotional, euphoric closer that had the whole place bouncing.

Packed Floor, Chaotic Energy, and a Proper East London Crowd

This was one of those nights where the set just kept levelling up – every tune hit. The playlist was a whirlwind of eras and styles that somehow made perfect sense together. The crowd was up for anything, and DJ Edamame kept the energy moving with some inspired programming and fearless transitions.

Big Tunes That Worked

  • Adore U – Fred Again

  • Groove Is in the Heart – Deee-Lite

  • Murder on the Dancefloor – Sophie Ellis-Bextor

  • This Girl – Kungs Vs Cookin’ On 3 Burners

  • We Are Your Friends – Justice Vs Simian

Unexpected Bangers

  • In For The Kill (Skream’s Let’s Get Ravey Remix) – La Roux

  • Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix) – Yeah Yeah Yeahs

  • The Kids Aren’t Alright – The Offspring

  • Fucking Wizardry – Self Esteem

The Setup

With limited space to work with, we rolled in our compact black DJ booth, moving head lighting, wireless uplighters, and still managed to squeeze in enough gear to make the dancefloor pop. It’s a small space, but with the right lighting and a packed crowd, the atmosphere was unbeatable.
